  2. The battery is ready. There are more guns, (including Picklesturms experimental pieces)on the way. Kurassiers on the go now and infantry battalions next - then dragoons and horse.
Kev is doing the bulk, I'm fleshing out the wierd, the special and extras like flags and basing etc - final presentation. So it's a team effort.
I'm also doing the main enemy, with another compatriot...stand-by for that one shortly.

  3. "Picklesturms experimental pieces": did the good (if politically incorrect*) Baron Munchausen visit the Direktorat?
    Louys
*: He seduced the Empress of Russia but did not put his influence over her to improve the conditions of the enslaved working masses: his outstanding merits notwithstanding, the man is a lustful viper.
Some believe him to be the reincarnation of Cyrano de Bergerac, given their shared tastes for extraordinary travels and aerial conveyances; yet the former had a big nose and the Baron has a big mouth: the unfortunate hazards of metempsychosis?

  4. "Picklesturms experimental pieces": the (French) 'tribarrels' (light / medium, moves as heavy / siege, triple effect but 2 moves / periods motionless undisturbed to reload?)?
Then Herrschaden may experiment with the Russian 'secret howitzer' (of a later date in our timeline, but Der Direktorat is so 'adavanced'): specially designed to shoot cannister, the tactical ancestor of the machine-gun (moves as light, heavy cannister range only but tremendous against troops in the open, specially if in close order?)...

  5. ...where do you think the French and Russians got the idea from in the first place? LOL...

..And BTW, Munchausen was a Herrschadener...and Cyrano de Bergerac is definently somewhere in the family tree of Direktor Rupert de Perignon....2xLOL

    OIIIIIIIO
